A moment for these leather navy culottes though… The perfect injection of colour for those who can’t take another year of burgundy or a morsel of forest green! I’ve been trying to shop with a bit more co-ordination in mind. As lovely as it is building a capsule wardrobe where everything mixes & matches, sometimes the outfits lack that bit of thought that makes an outfit special. I’m trying to arrange my wardrobe with some already co-ordinated combo’s so that on days where I can’t spend 20 minutes staring into the ominous vortex that is my wardrobe, I can just pick a pre-arranged outfit just like this to save me any despair! A bit of a uniform I suppose! Yes, that does mean a bit of outfit repeating but I’ve learned outfit repeating with great outfits is better then being a thrown together stressed out mess… Onto this outfit in particular though, it’s one I’ve been planning for ages in my head. I love how rich the navy leather looks, and for real leather I thought they were well priced! Also I think layering under V-neck knitwear is going to be my minimalist key look this season.

It’s that time of the year when the weather has turned to shite, and I dread to remember how hard it is to fashion blog in Ireland during winter. It constantly drizzles, its always windy (so there goes your hair), and the sun sets at 3.30pm halving your productivity time for blogposts & naturally lit videos. Le sigh. Trying to make the most of it though and it’s a little easier this year with Cathal back at uni for masters (i.e. he’s at nagging distance to shoot my looks ;-)). Til the next, T.
